Summary

My journey started in Fine Arts, but it gradually led me into product design and the world of startups. Along the way, I learned that creativity isn't just about making things look good, it's about improving people's everyday experiences.

Bio / Story

Hi, I’m Georgia. I’ve been living in New Zealand for over ten years, and my journey here has taken a few turns along the way.

I started out studying Fine Arts because I’ve always loved photography, creativity, and visual storytelling. Over time, I became curious about how creativity could be used to solve real problems, which eventually led me into UI/UX design and the tech world. Today, I work as a UI/UX designer while continuing my studies in Design and UI/UX Business Analysis.

My path definitely hasn’t been perfectly planned, and I think that’s actually a good thing. A lot of what I know now came from trying things, meeting people, working on real projects, making mistakes, and slowly figuring out what kind of work feels meaningful to me.

As a Uni Advisor, I’m not here to tell you there’s one “right” way to do university or build a career. I’d rather share what I’ve learned from my own experience, what I wish I had known earlier, and hopefully help you feel a little less lost while figuring out your own path.
