Let’s talk about strange behaviour in the workplace… because I don’t think people realise how WEIRD some office dynamics actually are. I once joined a new team where everyone had worked together for years. I was friendly, open, ready to dive into the work. But the vibe was off. Inside jokes I wasn’t part of. Meetings where I’d get talked over, etc. Rather than forcing it, I pulled back. Did my work, stayed professional, & left out. Sometimes it’s not you. You can’t force a fit.
