Lately I’ve been thinking about how our work-life balance has changed since COVID and with AI taking off.
Honestly, it feels like there’s a lot more fear in the way we work now, which pushes people to work harder but more miserably with less passion. Instead of enjoying life and the little moments, many of us are spending more time worrying about whether work is going well in every aspect.
I’m not here to say things haven’t changed, they definitely have. But maybe this is a good reminder to bring back a bit of gratitude, especially for the small things, both at work and outside of it.
Don’t let that constant complaining voice take over. It drains more than we realise.Take a step back. Look for the good. Appreciate what you used to enjoy.
Spend time with your family.
Make time for your hobbies. Do something that makes you smile - smile to yourself, your family and your kids.
Work is important, but it’s not everything

Workplace motivation is a complex, shared responsibility involving leaders, teams, and individuals. Factors like a lack of appreciation, unclear expectations, excessive workload, and burnout can hinder motivation. When organizations prioritize supportive environments and clear communication, employees feel valued, leading to increased purpose, personal growth, and, ultimately, a better experience for customers.
