Why do jobs not want to train anymore? Do they expect us to wake up with 3 years of experience? Someone explain.

Can someone from HR or like a hiring manager explained to me why I keep getting denied from jobs that I know I’m overly qualified for??????

I got into my first job interview after being unemployed for 7 months. I lied about my illness, which was the reason why I left my job. During the interview, the HR keeps on questioning why I took that career break and they want me to elaborate on what made me leave.

Yall how long do you think Project Management as a career will last before it gets the tech treatment and the AI/greed-induced layoffs start rolling? Asking for uhhh myself
