I got laid off about 6 weeks ago due to corporate restructuring. I’ve been applying to jobs since then, it takes time as I wasn’t entry level. My severance pay is almost gone, no insurance. Got approved for unemployment but that only pay $2000 a month and that leaves a gap. I interviewed for a serving job today and the owner was really nice, said she will probably call me. I cried in my car for about an hour afterwards. I worked so hard to get where I was a few months ago. I feel so lost 😞

I worked so hard to get this role, it took almost a year and now I’m back where I started.
